The Parliament & Science partnership aims to give scientific insights a prominent place in the parliamentary process. Within the partnership, the Dutch House of Representatives and six national science organisations (see the bottom of this page) are acting together in that regard.
To achieve that aim they make use of the following tools: network surveys (overview of scientists with knowledge in a specific area); scientific fact sheets; scientists’ assessments; breakfast meetings; a mini-symposium, and monitoring of new scientific research.
This website provides information about these tools, examples of how they are used, news, the history of the Parliament & Science partnership, background information in the form of a number of handouts , and contact details.
